MHA members work to promote equestrian sports, develop good horsemanship, maintain and preserve local equestrian facilities and trail access in the East Bay Hills.

MHA speaks for the equestrian community in East Bay Regional Parks District meetings and City of Oakland meetings.  We have representatives on the East Bay Area Trails Council and the Oakland Trails Working Group.  We maintain Sequoia arena, a real asset in this community.

Show season is starting! Check out our 2008 calendar of events. With trail rides, Western/English Shows, Hunter/Jumper and Dressage Competitions, we have something for everyone.

Set in the beautiful Oakland hills, Sequoia Arena offers competitors good footing, lovely jumps and a great opportunity to introduce riders and horses to showing. We offer concessions, trailer parking and a nice schooling area. Not to mention, MHA Shows are just a fun.
